Virginia begin work in stage design as a way to continue involvement in theatre when not actively directing. Her interests in fine art, symbolism, iconology, and art history are infused into her work, bringing results that are both visually exciting and artistically developed. Virginia particularly enjoys bringing a new or unexpected look to classic works. Her designs advance the overall artistic depth of the project, while always providing results that are cohertant with the director's overall vision.
